Strengthening My Skills in English with a Focus on Science
Our preschool students recently enjoyed the project “Strengthening My Skills in English with a Focus on Science.” The purpose of this activity was to help children learn English in a natural way while discovering simple science concepts.
The main activity was making homemade playdough. The children listened to the steps in English and followed them one by one. They mixed ingredients, shaped the dough, and had fun creating their own playdough. During the process, they learned and repeated words like “mix,” “soft,” “round,” and colors. This helped them connect English with real actions and experiences, making the language more meaningful.
Teacher noticed how focused and motivated the children were. They responded to instructions, tried to use new words, and showed confidence when practicing short phrases in English. The activity was also playful and creative, giving students the chance to experiment like little scientists. At the end, each child proudly showed their playdough and enjoyed sharing it with their classmates and families.
This project showed that learning English can be fun and useful when connected to daily experiences. It also encouraged curiosity, creativity, and communication. Most importantly, it left our preschool students happy and motivated to keep learning.
