The Preschool afternoon opening of the Calasanz SkillClub project marks an exciting new chapter in our educational community. Designed especially for our youngest learners, this initiative provides a dynamic and enriching environment where children can develop age-appropriate skills through meaningful and engaging experiences. The afternoons are thoughtfully structured to foster curiosity, creativity, and social growth, ensuring that students continue learning in a joyful and stimulating setting beyond the regular school day.
Throughout the program, students participate in inquiry-based projects guided by their homeroom teacher, encouraging exploration and critical thinking from an early age. They also enjoy sports initiation activities that promote coordination, teamwork, and healthy habits. Creative expression is nurtured through body expression sessions and folk dance, allowing children to build confidence while connecting with cultural traditions. In addition, students explore science in English, integrating hands-on discovery with language exposure in a natural and engaging way.
A distinctive feature of Calasanz SkillClub is the daily exposure to English as a second language. Every afternoon, children strengthen their communication skills through immersive experiences that enhance listening, speaking, and comprehension. This consistent interaction with English, combined with diverse pedagogical and artistic activities, ensures a holistic development process that supports cognitive, physical, emotional, and linguistic growth at this important stage of life.
